Jason Jamie Chan is an independent travel advisor

who helps people experience the best of Alberta and British Columbia. He was born and raised in Calgary but moved to Vancouver in his early adult life, giving him a personal and professional foothold in both worlds. Instead of relying on mass-market booking engines or cookie-cutter itineraries, he focuses on creating smooth, personalized journeys that connect travellers directly to the authentic culture, incredible food, and breathtaking wilderness of the Canadian West.

For the past 20 years, Jason has built close partnerships with independent boutique hoteliers, local chefs, and wilderness outfitters from the Pacific coast to the Rocky Mountains. Whether he is securing private aviation, arranging an exclusive backcountry excursion, or planning a customized regional food tour, Jason handles every detail behind the scenes so his clients can travel effortlessly and enjoy themselves.

About

Jason’s travel planning comes from a lifelong connection to the Canadian West. Growing up in Calgary, he fell in love with the rugged beauty of the prairies and the Rocky Mountains. When he later moved to Vancouver, he embraced the coastal lifestyle, the Pacific Northwest food scene, and the vibrant culture of the coast. Living and working in both places gives him a unique view of Western Canada, seeing it as a beautifully connected region just waiting to be explored.

Jason spends his time on the ground exploring the backroads, valleys, and city centers of B.C and Alberta to find the special places that mainstream travel sites miss. He skips the standard brochures and corporate checklists, choosing instead to build real, direct relationships
